Workbench
This table was build within the assignment of create a workbench in less than two weeks. It reinterprets the concept of “work” in a contemporary context, resembling a practical office work table. While loosely inspired by the form language of baroque furniture, the design takes a more minimalistic approach.
The table includes two drawers—one of which is lockable—and a central pole with power sockets that can be lowered beneath the surface when not in use. Unlike traditional baroque furniture, which often hides structural elements, this piece intentionally highlights its connections, making them a visible part of the design.
