For Trees Merx, being a designer means to solve problems by being observant of the world around her and seeing what is needed. To train this, she likes to come up with little inventions that make her life easier and learn as much as possible about different making techniques. She improves her skills with playful projects which allow her to explore exciting materials, with a hands on approach, like experimental lenses that create light projections or interactive mechanisms.
